  • Grief and Bereavement

    The mission of The Dougy Center is to provide support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults and their families grieving a death can share their experiences. Also, through Pathways Program  they  provide a safe place for families facing an advanced serious illness. Can obtain information on grieving and referrals to programs nationally for grieving children, teens and their families


    Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit 501(c)3 bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or legal guardian. The free camps include confidence building programs and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. Comfort Zone Camps are offered to children 7-17, and are held year-round across the Country



    Education regarding grief and trauma



    A practice for individuals, couples and groups designed to faciliate the grief process.



    Located in Kingston, MA.  Support services are free of charge and open to the community. Support people in a safe environment where they are able to share and process their grief with others facing similar losses. 



    Promotes awareness of the needs of children and teens grieving a death and provides education and resources for anyone who wants to support them.

    WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food, breastfeeding support and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify.


    Quincy/Braintree Family Network is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care of Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Programs (CFCE) and are locally based programs serving families with children birth through school age. 



    The Family Resource Centers (FRCs) of Massachusetts serve as partners who help parents and children thrive by strengthening family bonds.  Goal is to empower, nurture, and support children and families to help them reach their full potential.



    South Shore Support Services facilitates self-advocacy groups, parent support groups, planning for aging parents with adult children at home and social groups for individuals. Assist individuals and families with housing issues, respite care, transportation and recreational resources.

    The Alan and Lorraine Bressler Clinical and Research Program for Autism Spectrum Disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital is dedicated to the evaluation and care of children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
