Quincy Pediatric Associates, Inc, began in 1972 following 12 years of a private practice partnership with Dr. Russell Irons and Dr. Melvin Zonis. Over the years, our practice has grown to include 9 Board Certified Pediatricians. Our Quincy office moved from Quincy Square to its current Independence Avenue location in 1972. The Marshfield office opened on Rt. 139 in 1982 and expanded in 2000.
Quincy Pediatric Associates is a member of Affiliated Pediatric Practices, a partnership of several PCHI affiliated practices in the Greater Boston Area. Our physicians are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and are all members of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We have affiliations with both Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools for the teaching of students and residents, as well as an association with Northeastern University’s Physician’s Assistant program.
Our Primary Hospital affiliation is with South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Additionally, we have clinical associations with Children’s Hospital of Boston, The Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, and Boston Floating Hospital/Tufts Medical Center.
Quincy Pediatrics was formed with the goal of providing outstanding pediatric care and unparalleled availability while preserving the traditional family feel of your doctor’s office. Today, this is evidenced by the makeup of our fantastic staff. Many have been with us for over 10 years (some over 20!), and among this group several are former patients of the practice!
As you wind your way through growth and development, school, sports, bumps, bruises, and illnesses, we’re sure you will be pleased with what you find at Quincy Pediatrics.
